The Agile Manifesto is a document that is used for simpler software development practices as it outlines the key values and principles used for software development in the agile methodology, such as Scrum, Extreme Programming, Kanban, and feature-driven development (FDD) frameworks. The primary goal of agile manifesto is to create guidelines that could be adapted to suit each situation instead of a rigid structure that had to be followed exactly so that teams can choose to use a handful of the outlined principles or develop their own variations of agile workflows.
Agile-centered tools, such as Kanban project management software, are some of the most flexible and accommodating tools because of the loosely defined practices. The basis for program development and workflows used by diverse groups worldwide can be formed by the Agile Manifesto.
Individuals and interactions over processes and tools, working software over lengthy documentation, customer collaboration over contract negotiation and responding to change over following a plan are four key values of the Agile Manifesto.
Increased adaptability, increased product quality, increased customer satisfaction, decreased risk and improved work environment are some of the benefits of the Agile Manifesto. The Agile Manifesto is an excellent starting point for teams looking to implement an agile methodology into their workflow.
