Agile is a type of project management practice that is used to achieve goals through incremental progress. Although it was started with software development teams, but now this work management style is used by many industries.

A team can complete work in very less time period with continuous feedback from stakeholders by using this technique. The agile process emphasizes collaboration, flexibility, and reflection unlike a traditional project management approach.

There are many agile methodologies, including scrum and kanban. A visual way for team members is needed for companies employing a kanban-style workflow  to track project steps.  The visual aid can come either in the form of interactive kanban project management software or a tangible kanban board. Teams are allowed to track metrics like lead and cycle time with software platforms.

Scrum, Kanban and Scrumban are various methodologies or frameworks that govern the day-to-day processes of a team.

Flexibility, faster time to market, better collaboration, reduced risk, higher customer satisfaction rates are some of the benefits of agile. Product and project teams can bring higher quality goods or services to market sooner with the help of agile. Companies should focus on building teams that work together well, keeping the customer top of mind and prioritizing in-person communication to get the most out of agile.
