The click-through rate, or CTR, is a measurement that shows the percentage of users who visit a call to action (CTA) button or link and click on it. This measurement is based on numbers of impressions and how many of these impressions resulted in a click rather than individual users.

CTR is one of the most important metrics tracked by digital marketing and advertising services as it is used to measure how effective or successful a marketing campaign is. The campaign is believed to be more effective when the CTR is high because it shows that a higher percentage of people who see the CTA, are interested enough to click on it.
