Amazon RDS is a Relational Database Service that can be used by application developers, database administrators, system administrators, and DevOps engineers to set up, operate, and scale a database in the cloud. There is no need for provisioning of infrastructure and for installing and maintaining database software. Read Replicas can be launched to offload read traffic from your primary database instance.
