Labosaurus is a laboratory information management system (LIMS) that can be used by medical and research laboratories. Basic quality assurance and laboratory management can be provided for smaller labs. Modules for employee records, standard operating procedures, equipment inventory, sample accessioning and storage, reagent inventory, incident records and lab task schedules are included in the software. It help assist labs in maintaining accreditation and to meet their required quality standards. A wide range of commonly needed LIMS features is provided for small to medium sized laboratories. It can keep list of Employee Evaluations and track employee documents, such as resumes, certifications or training records. A list of Standard Operating Procedures can be maintained for given job roles. Documents are stored in a searchable archive. A version history of all published documents is maintained. Alerts can be send to staff when there is a new document version available for a required SOP. It keeps a record of locations, asset numbers and current status of equipment.
